K-BACH public radio invites you to Explore The Great Indoors by visiting one of Arizona's many cool museums and cultural institutions. Chill out during the Valley of the Sun's hottest months as you explore the wonderful venues of these participating sponsors.

Children's Museum of Phoenix

It's always cool in the Children's Museum of Phoenix. Spend your summer exploring three floors of hands-on, creative and immersive exhibits and programs. Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art

Celebrate a new season at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art's Summer Opening! The Commemorative Air Force Airbase Arizona

The cooled museum in Mesa, off the Loop 202, was founded as a non-profit to restore and preserve a collection of US combat aircraft. At its heart is a mission of educating generations about the causes of war, the great loss of life, and the heroes who saved the world. The museum offers Warbird rides, a working mechanics hangar and 55,000 square feet of aircraft, artifacts and exhibits.

ASU Art Museum

ASU Art Museum will be closed for renovations during the month of June. Join us to celebrate our grand re-opening at Family Fun Day on Saturday, July 9th. There will be more than a dozen hands-on, art-making activities from 10am - 4pm. You can also take a stroll through the galleries and visit our 5 new summer exhibitions.
