Navigating the new tabbed menu:

1. Enjoy 24-hour Live Classical music stream of KBACH 89.5 FM.
2. Listen to 24-hour classic jazz from Jazz PHX 91.5 HD2.
3. Stay informed with KJZZ News 91.5 FM. You can both read and listen to local news from KJZZ.
4. Access KBACH podcasts and other on-demand content, like Heart of the Arts.

6. Tap the KBACH logo from any place in the app to return to home screen.
7. Tap the Menu icon to open the side menu for even more features, including details Playlists, the weekly Program Schdule, the new Member Portal, and more.

How do I listen? Playback Controls:

The "Play/Pause" button is now conveniently located in the bottom-left corner of the screen, along with information on the currently airing program.

To listen, select the KBACH navigation tab at the top of the screen, then tap the "play" icon at the bottom of the screen. The play icon changes to a "pause" icon, which you can tap to stop or temporarilly pause the stream.

Note, you may experience a short delay between tapping "play" and when your music starts while the app buffers the audio stream information. This buffer allows the app to provide a better listening experience with fewer interruptions while listening on the go.

Tapping with upward-chevron icon on the right opens expanded controls, which include AirPlay controls, sharing options and rewind/fast-forward controls.

I'm hearing jazz or talk radio. How do I get back to classical KBACH?

First, touch the "Classical" tab at the top of the screen. Second, tap the Play icon in the bottom left corner of the screen, next to the message "Press play to switch to CLASSICAL / KBACH"

How do I know if I have the new version of the app?

The first indicator is the app icon. The new KBACH app sports a white icon with a blue KBACH logotype, while the previous version was blue with a white logo.

From inside the app, you should see the new tabbed navigation bar along the top of the screen, featuring Classical KBACH, jazz, news and on-demand podcasts.

If your mobile device hasn't updated your KBACH app to the latest version, visit the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) stores, so you can enjoy the new KBACH mobile app today.
