We all have our routine, things we have to do everyday… things we HAVE to do for the Holidays. For many conductors the holidays mean endless performances of “Nutcracker” or  "Messiah." Some tire of the performances but Michael Christie returns to lead the Phoenix Symphony for five performances of Handel’s “Messiah” this week, starting this evening at Mesa Arts Center. Sterling Beeaff sat down with Christie and found out that for HIM this is a labor of love…
