Christmas 'Round the Clock

As you wrap those last-minute presents, enjoy Christmas dinner with the family, or hit the road to see some Christmas lights around town, let KBACH provide the soundtrack. We'll be playing all holiday music on Christmas Eve and Day. You'll hear all your favorites performed by the Boston Pops, Canadian Brass, London Symphony, Cambridge Singers, and more.

Handel's Messiah Part I
December 25 (6PM)
It's a KBACH tradition! We'll air the complete Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah, so gather family and friends around the radio for one of history's finest seasonal works.

A Wintry Mix

Gone will be the carols, but you'll still hear some seasonally appropriate pieces throughout the day, like Sleigh Ride, The Skaters Waltz, Winter Wonderland, and Let it Snow.

Auld Lang Syne

Throughout the last day of the year, we'll toss in various arrangements of that familiar New Year's song. The Royal Philharmonic and Chorus, Haydn Trio Eisenstadt with tenor Jamie MacDougall, and Yo-Yo Ma with Chris Botti--just some of the artists and ensembles you'll hear.

KBACH's New Year's Eve Toast
December 31 (10PM - Midnight)
Ring in the New Year with a selection of waltzes, polkas, and pops arrangements, the perfect music for your celebration.

New Year's Day from Vienna 2020
January 1 (Noon to 2PM)
It's the most listened-to concert of the year! More than 50 million people in 90-plus countries tune in each year for the Vienna Philharmonic's New Year's Day Concert from the Golden Hall of the Musikverein. The program includes music from the Strauss family and their contemporaries. It's the perfect way to kick off 2020.
