"The Musical of Musicals"

"The Musical of Musicals" spoofs the genre by looking at the same simple story as it would have been treated by five of America's top musical theater creators-Rodgers & Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, Jerry Herman, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Kander & Ebb. Chris talks about the musical and how it spoofs those composers' shows and he also evaluates the local production.

The "Musical of Musicals" continues through April 7th at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Peoria. For tickets, call the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts box office at 623-815-7930 or order tickets online at www.theaterworks.org.
