KBAQ Spring into Summer Fund Drive Giveaways and Contests

Throughout the KBAQ Spring into Summer Fund Drive, KBAQ will hold giveaways and contest opportunities during specific hours of the drive. Anyone can enter to win the prize(s) during the specific time of each giveaway or contest by calling in (1-888-774-8950) or going online. All entries are time-stamped at the beginning of the phone call or online entry.

Rules

KBAQ Spring into Summer Fund Drive Giveaways and Contests begin Monday, May 24th, and continues throughout the fund drive period ending Thursday, May 27th. Giveaways and contests open at the beginning of the hour when they are announced and are closed at the end of the hour, unless otherwise specified. KBAQ will randomly draw a winner and five alternates from all entries for each specific contest. The drawings will be conducted either during the fund drive and announced on-air or will be drawn following the conclusion of the fund drive by Monday, May 31st, 2010. The winners of all giveaways and contests will be announced on-air and posted online at KBAQ.org. KBAQ will also notify the winners by phone and e-mail.

The winner must contact the KBAQ development department at 480-833-1122 to make arrangements to secure the prize(s). No purchase or donation are necessary. Void where prohibited.

How to Enter

Anyone 18 years and older can participate between 7:00 AM, Monday, May 24th, 2010 and 5:00 PM Thursday, May 27th, 2010 (Mountain Standard Time) using one of the following methods:

Make an online credit card contribution at kbaq.org
Submit your entry online at kbaq.org with or without a contribution.

All entries must include your first and last name, address, phone number, email address, and all other requested information.

Eligibility Restrictions

Contest is open to U.S. residents 18 years of age and older.
KBAQ employees and their families are not eligible to enter any KBAQ contest.
KBAQ Community Advisory Board members are not eligible to enter any KBAQ contest while in office.
Limit one entry per person.

Selection of Winner

KBAQ will randomly draw a winner and five alternates from all entries for each specific contest. All decisions made by station management with regard to the prize, the selection of prizewinners, and the interpretation of these rules are final. Each entrant, by virtue of entering the contest, agrees to accept the decision of the station as final. Prizewinner need not listen or be present to win. KBAQ will notify prizewinner by phone or e-mail. KBAQ is not responsible for any mechanical telephone error, failure or omission; lost or misdirected mail, faxes or e-mail; neglect on the part of the US Postal Service; or e-mail service disruption.

KBAQ reserves the right at any time to award the prize to another eligible prizewinner, drawn at random, if the original prizewinner cannot make use of the prize or in the event that the original prizewinner does not meet eligibility requirements. If a prizewinner fails to accept the prize for any reason, KBAQ will not award a make-good prize. KBAQ will not provide replacements for a forfeited prize.

Conditions

Prizewinner accepts responsibility for all taxes, tips and other liabilities, including but not limited to transportation, lodging and other affiliated costs that may not be included in the prize package. Prize is not transferable, assignable or redeemable for cash. By entering, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless KBAQ including all officers, directors, employees, volunteers and sponsors from all liability, loss, damage or injury resulting from participation in KBAQ's Spring Fund Drive Giveaways and Contests promotion. KBAQ, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person for tampering with the entry process or the operation of the KBAQ website as well as any person in violation of the rules.

Right to Make Changes

KBAQ reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent or greater value, which will become effective upon announcement.

Responsibilities

KBAQ is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of the prize.

Copies of Contest Rules

Copies of the written contest rules will be available up to 30 days after the end of the contest at KBAQ.org. You may also receive the rules by mail by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to KBAQ, 2323 W. 14th Street, Tempe, Arizona, 85281.
