Phoenix Seeks Input on ParksBeginning this week, Phoenix Parks and Recreation department will be looking for input from the public on the direction on the city's parks and desert preserves over the next five years. City voters recently approved a thirty year extension of the one tenth of a cent sales tax that funds park improvements. Mars Landing Picture PerfectMany scientists at the University of Arizona woke up this morning to start their first day living on Mars time. It's all part of a 90-day mission they'll start this week, after the Phoenix Lander spacecraft touched down safely on the red planet on Sunday.
