Starring Tom Hulce as Mozart, F. Murray Abraham as Salieri. This is not a totally accurate depiction of Mozartīs life, But thatīs OK, itīs not supposed to be! it is a beautifully filmed and acted version of Peter Schaefferīs stage play, though, and a very entertaining glimpse of our favorite composer.

Matthau is a Mozart-loving maverick CIA operative who decides to teach his idiotic boss a lesson by publishing his volatile memoirs.The CIA goes after him to keep him quiet, but Matthau evades them at every turn.
