Bandwidth Issues
If you are experiencing an issue with the quality of the audio stream, one thing that helps our service provider to diagnose this issue is to run through the following steps and send along the results as a text file to webmaster@kbaq.org. a) while in Windows, go to start, run - type in "command" Or if you are on a a Macintosh computer, go to the Terminal, or use Network Utility under Applications/Utilities. For more information (type "man traceroute"). b) a DOS window will come up c) at the c: prompt: for windows media streams, type in the following and hit enter: tracert riosal.wm.llnwd.net for Real, Winamp, iTunes (MP3) streams, type in the following and hit enter: tracert riosal.ic.llnwd.net d) the program should go through a series of points until it finishes by saying "trace complete." e) select the results of this and paste it into a text file.
