Announcer and Public Affairs Coordinator

Katrina Becker began playing the violin at the age of four with the Suzuki method, and also started studying the piano at six years. She continued actively performing with youth and school orchestras through high school, winning an award on the piano in the Phoenix Symphony Guild Concerto Competition as a senior. At Northern Arizona University, Katrina was awarded a full music scholarship as a 14-year-old freshman, and played in the University Orchestra, the Flagstaff Symphony, and several smaller ensembles. She graduated with a B.A. in religious studies and a minor in music performance.

Katrina has played with the Mesa Symphony, and she worked as Operations Coordinator for The Phoenix Symphony for five years. Currently, Katrina plays as a first violin in the Symphony of the West Valley, principal violin with Ensemble Indigo, and in several ensembles, including the Renaissance Quartet.
